I
have been seeing Dr. Cook for chiropractic adjustments since September
1996. Since then I have acquired the ability to sleep on my back
on a super hard bed ALL NIGHT waking up rested and pain free.
I have always been able to walk to relieve pain but now I can
walk and enjoy the trip. Sitting has always been a problem for
me but with the adjustments, the roller table and a special car
seat I designed, I can ride in a car all the way to Ohio. I have
an adjustment just once a month. My husband and I are grateful
to have Dr. Cook in our lives.

My back was completely dysfunctional. I could not walk for days
at a time. I sent my MRI's all around the world. The consensus
from Florida to Paris, France was " your back is ruined".
MRI's showed severe damage to my entire lumbar spine. Dr. Cook
and his associates were the only people who could help. My back
is 1,000 % better, Spinal Decompression works!

When I first came to Peninsula Pain and Rehabilitation center
I was suffering from head to toe with Fibromyalgia, and a frozen
shoulder. After thorough examination I was put on a regimen of
physical therapy, chiropractic and acupuncture. Dr. Cook and his
staff did wonders to get my life on track. The acupuncture also
helped me to sleep better, and improved my general well being.
I strongly recommend this clinic to anyone who is suffering from
any joint or muscle pain. The staff's pleasant attitude made it
a pleasure to come for treatments.
Sincerely,

I
came to Peninsula Pain and Rehabilitation Center for relief from
severe leg and back pain. Walking and any activity that involved
my lower back were agony. Ten years ago, I had spine surgery.
I was looking for relief without having another surgery. Dr. Cook
diagnosed the cause of my pain as sciatica and degenerative disc
disease. My treatments included acupuncture and chiropractic adjustments.
My skepticism of acupuncture was quickly dispelled when after
only three treatments, I was able to walk comfortably. I continued
my treatments for several months and my pain gradually diminished
and my legs got stronger.
Dr. Cook's knowledge, skill and enthusiasm and the patient support
from his staff contributed greatly to the success of my treatment.
Thank you for your care.

I
have fibromyalgia and have been a patient of both Dr. Cook and
Dr. Reid. I have received medical advice and direction from Dr.
Reid concerning my condition and have always been treated in a
kind and compassionate way. Dr. Cook has administered acupuncture
and chiropractic treatments to me since January of 2003 and my
health is greatly improved. I was also seen by the physical therapists
as well as a personal trainer and have gotten stronger as a result.
I so believe that everyone associated with Peninsula Pain and
Rehabilitation Center truly care about their patients and see
the best methods in dealing with that individuals' health concerns.
They treat people in a caring and kind way including any and all
problems. The staff at the reception desk are very personable
and make the client feel at ease.
Sincerely,

I
am a registered nurse and I have been a chiropractic patient for
many years for chronic neck and low back problems from an injury.
When I moved to this area from Atlanta, I was quite concerned
I wouldn't find a chiropractor as good as I had in Atlanta. Dr.
Cook is one of the few doctors that utilize the same technique
(Toftness-light pressure) as my previous chiropractor. Dr. Cook
has FAR exceeded my expectations. He has treated me with nothing
but kindness, professionalism and great skill. I feel better than
ever. I recommend Dr. Cook and his staff very highly.

I
started seeing Dr. Cook after five years of living with the pain
of migraines. At the time I was taking several prescription drugs
and suffering the side effects of those drugs, such as weight
gain, and getting lost on my way to work. The enduring headaches
sent me to the emergency room 2 to 3 times a month. I started
seeing Dr. Cook for acupuncture about 2 years ago. He quickly
got things under control. I had one headache episode that first
week after I saw him, and after that there were no major headaches
and I was off the prescription drugs. Now I am on maintenance
and I feel I have my life back, a quality of life I had almost
given up on before my acupuncture treatments. I am very happy
with the results, and my family is thrilled to have me back in
the flow of things.
Thank you Dr. Cook

In the early 90's, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. I instinctively
knew I wanted to explore natural solutions for pain relief and
to get to the cause. A friend recommended Dr. Cook. Spinal adjustments,
along with massage, water aerobics, mild muscle strengthening
and supplements lowered the pain level. Last summer I decided
to add acupuncture and to my delight I have increased energy and
days without pain. I am grateful to Dr. Cook. He is professional,
knowledgable, compassionate, and encouraging.

After
several years of medical treatment for fibromyalgia, my doctor
recommended acupuncture. I contacted Dr. Cook and he has helped
in relieving my pain. He is a very professional and compassionate

Peninsula
Pain and Rehabilitation Center has taken great care of me over
the years. I had terrible headaches that I rarely have any longer
and I attribute this to Dr. Cook and his wonderful staff.

I
began with Dr. Cook December 2003 for back adjustments. After
several months of care, I now come in once a month and my back
feels young again. This past January 2001 -2010 I started with
Acupuncture and after the first treatment I couldn't believe the
improvement in my hands and back with my arthritis. The best thing
that has happened to me was my sister bringing me to Dr. Cook.
I also drive two hours each way to be here.

I
have been a patient at Peninsula Pain and Rehabilitation Center
for about four years. I came to them with a number of conditions
including a cervical fusion, lumbar strain and fibromyalgia. I
like the therapeutic team approach that the center practices.
I have received physical therapy, chiropractic manipulations,
acupuncture, nutritional counseling and when necessary, medications.
I know I will never be pain free but the doctors have put together
a treatment plan that allows me to live a fairly normal independent
lifestyle. I look forward to continuing treatment at the center
and encourage anyone to give it a try before deciding on surgery.
Sincerely satisfied,

After
talking with Dr Cook I was very skeptical of an acupuncture staple
in my ear to aid in weight loss. I figured I had nothing to lose
and gave it a try. It's now been slightly over two months with
the staple inserted and I've shed 23lbs. without changing much
else in my lifestyle. Thanks Dr. Cook!

My main reason for wanting to try acupuncture was to avoid knee
replacement surgery. It's helped my TMJ, foot pain from Morton's
Neuroma and also my hip and shoulder pain. As a bonus, I've lost
20lbs. I started October 25, 2004 seeing Dr. Cook.

I
was having terrible headaches and neck pain for years. I had tried
virtually everything. The combination of acupuncture and chiropractic
has helped so much; my searching for an answer has stopped. Thank
you Dr. Cook.

My
husband John and I have been patients of the Peninsula Pain and
Rehabilitation Center since 1998, and have found Dr. Cook and
his staff to be very competent, capable and caring professionals.
His office is stocked with all of the necessary, state of the
art equipment. Treatments received are effective and address our
needs. We rely on Dr. Cook and his staff for all our chiropractic
and acupuncture health care needs.

Two
years ago when I started coming to Peninsula Pain and Rehabilitation,
I was not sure what to expect, but soon found out that the doctors
and staff are very friendly and enjoyable to be around when you
are there for your appointment. Whenever I go in for an appointment
with Dr. Cook he is always willing to answer any questions that
I may have concerning what he will be doing during the treatment.
I recommend this office to my friends and co-workers due to the
fact that the staff is very friendly and always happy to help
you out anyway that they can.

I
have suffered with chronic pain due to fibromyalgia for quite
some time. In the fall of 2003, I started visiting Dr. Cook and
became engaged in a treatment program recommended by him, which
was designed to help alleviate all of my problems. He and his
staff have worked diligently with me using various means at their
disposal in getting my pain manageable. I have benefited through
the use of acupuncture, chiropractic adjustments and physical
therapy sessions. I continue to strive towards pain-free living
and appreciate Dr. Cook and his staff's guidance.

Dr.
Cook has given me acupuncture treatments with electrical stimulation
for weight loss and it was highly successful. His predictions
on how the weight loss would occur were highly accurate.

I
have been receiving treatment from the Peninsula Pain and Rehabilitation
Center for at least four years. Although my condition is not curable,
I am impressed with the caring and understanding approach of the
team. I would recommend this team to anyone I happen to meet that
is in need of the medical and chiropractic approach to treatment.

I
am a 58-year-old woman who has more medical problems than most
people could ever imagine. Just to mention a few- I have high
blood pressure, tremendous problems with depression and have been
taking anti-depressants and sleeping aid medications for stress
because of panic attacks. I have fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis
and also have had two knee replacements. Doctors have told me
all sort of horror stories about how things will be in the future-
not a pretty picture they painted. I have been working with Dr.
Michael Cook since he started his practice in 1993. He started
with basic chiropractic adjustments and acupuncture. I'm on a
monthly adjustment schedule now and presently using a product
that Dr. Cook recommended a few years ago called MSM. He has totally
given me back my life. I am doing things that medical doctors
told me I would never be doing. I am feeling good about myself
, feeling healthy and mentally the best I've ever been. I have
only Dr. Michael Cook to thank.

What
do you do when you have chronic pain, a breakdown in your spine
and you are allergic to prescription drugs?
I literally prayed for a miracle and thank God for Dr. Michael
Cook and his staff at Peninsula Pain and Rehabilitation Center.
I have been a patient of Dr. Cook for 10 years. What impresses
me the most about Dr. Cook is he really cares about his patients
and I feel confident in referring a patient to his clinic because
he is always studying and bettering himself in his field of study.
I sincerely feel without acupuncture and adjustments I would have
been in a wheelchair ten years ago. Acupuncture gives me energy,
a better nights' sleep and I can function. It disappoints me that
the insurance companies will not pay for alternative treatments
like these but will give you medications and other things that
will do absolutely nothing for you. I believe more people need
to check into alternative medicine and leave the drugs alone;
you have to take care of your health. Everyone at Peninsula Pain
and Rehabilitation is great! Give them a try!

I have chronic pain issues from my fibromyalgia and TMJ. Before
coming to the Peninsula Pain and Rehabilitation Center, the pain
was a daily problem that prohibited and exhausted me from doing
many things. The chiropractic adjustments and therapy exercises
have decreased the pain levels and increased my ability to complete
daily tasks. It has also given me the tools to employ when I am
having an episode of increased pain. I credit my success to the
multidisciplinary approach Peninsula Pain uses, as well as the
caring attitudes of their employees.

Allow
me to speak from a female perspective. For the many women who
are experiencing chronic pain and don't understand why, never
accept the answer that it is all in your head, it is truly in
your body. The pain is very real. If you are experiencing chronic
pain with many limitations, I encourage you to seek professional
help very soon.
I
am a fibromyalgia patient and my condition is not imaginary. However,
some doctors are not equipped to recognize this condition. I feel
very fortunate that two years ago the Peninsula Pain and Rehabilitation
Center was highly recommended by a medical doctor who wasn't quite
sure of my condition. Having been in pain for many years, I was
in search of relief. After calling the Peninsula Pain and Rehabilitation
Center to make an appointment, I was able to see the doctor within
a few days. While making the appointment, I found the voice of
the receptionist to be pleasant and accommodating. Upon arriving
for my appointment I found the staff equally as pleasant. The
gym and facilities were inviting, which I now continue to use
and enjoy. After meeting with Dr. Reid and Dr. Cook I knew I was
in the proper atmosphere. Dr. Reid and Dr. Cook have always been
willing to listen and to treat my condition. For the last two
years I have been free from the pain medications that I had been
taking for years. Here at the Peninsula Pain and Rehabilitation
Center I am being treated through acupuncture, physical therapy,
chiropractic manipulations, and therapeutic exercises. I am satisfied
and remain grateful for the personal care that I continue to receive
through this pain center.
For
those who desire to receive pain relief, I encourage you to obtain
as much information about your condition as possible. The key
is to seek professional help and choose a pain clinic where the
doctors will listen and work with you. I did and it was clearly
the right decision for me.

I
would like to thank Dr. Cook and Dr. Reid at the Peninsula Pain
and Rehabilitation for the relief of my neck and back pain that
has been going on for the last five years. After just three treatments
my pain is going away and I am able to sleep better at night.
I would recommend these services to other people in need of neck
and back pain relief.
